GBAA Baseball & Softball League Information

The GBAA Rookie League is an instructional & developmental co-ed league, geared as an introduction into the game of baseball for 3 & 4 year olds. Games are (2) innings. No score is kept & no umpires are present. RIF (Reduced Injury Factor) Baseballs are used for this league. 

The GBAA TeeBall Division is for 5 & 6 year olds. This league introduces players to competitive play. This division is Coach Pitch ONLY (NO Kid Pitch). The Batting Tee is used for this league as well. 

2 1/4 Bats ONLY in this Division.

The GBAA PeeWee Division is for 7 & 8 year olds. This league a mix of Coach Pitch and is an introduction to Kid Pitch. (NO Batting Tee). 

2 5/8 Barrel Bats ARE allowed. 

GBAA Pony Division is for 13 & 14 year olds.  GBAA Pony plays in the Multi County League. 

GBAA Senior League is for players age 15 & up. This division plays in the Multi-County League which travels to other parks. 

GBAA 6U Softball is for 4, 5 & 6 year old girls. This league introduces players to competitive play. This division is Coach Pitch ONLY (NO Kid Pitch). The Batting Tee is used for this league as well.

NO high-powered bats are allowed, including double wall constructed or composite bats. This includes two-piece bats (Half and Half construction where the barrel is aluminum, and the handle is composite. Bats cannot contain composite materials

 (Facemasks are REQUIRED for ALL players.)

GBAA 8U Softball is an introduction into Kid Pitch. It has mix of both Kid Pitch & Coach Pitch. 

Bats must be of single-wall aluminum construction for the handle and barrel.

(End caps may be a material other than aluminum).

Composite bats are allowed as long as they meet ASA/USA Softball requirements.
